Guest Post: Steve Chenier Executive Director, Ontario Curling Association

The recent announcement that the Ontario Curling Association will be partnering with Title Sports Live (TSL) should have curling fans excited to watch much more live curling than ever before in Ontario. With seven events on the schedule, fans will be able to watch in excess of 170 hours of live action curling, all on the media platform of their choice (smartphone, laptop, desktop, tablet, Smart TV). Anywhere you have access to the internet you have access to live curling.

The variety of events will give fans a cross section of games starting with the Travelers Club Championship and moving on to include the U-21 Men & Women, U-18 Boys & Girls, Senior Men & Women, Master Men & Women, Mixed Doubles and of course the Ontario Men’s and Women’s action from Cobourg. No matter your location in the world with internet access you will be able to watch a game during each draw of these Championships. This unparalleled access to Ontario curling action will expose the next generation of curling idols and showcase some of our past and present heroes. With over 50,000 active curlers in Ontario and a past viewing audience in excess of 250,000 fans, the scope of opportunity for curling and curlers will help boost exposure to our great game.

Mark your calendar, the first event will commence on Friday, October 28th at 9:00 am live from the Whitby Curling Club.
